Austin Brown joins the Klein Forest Band for his fourth year of teaching out of the University of Houston Moores School of Music. Prior to joining us at Klein Forest, Mr. Brown was the Head Band Director at West Briar Middle School in Houston Independent School District. Mr. Brown studied Music Education with a focus in Saxophone under Mr. Dan Gelok. Mr. Brown played in various ensembles during his time at the University of Houston such as, the Symphonic Winds, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, Cougar Brass, and the Spirit of Houston Marching Band. Mr. Brown enjoys jazz music, sports, Nintendo games, and his dog Louis.
