Harlow Exley is entering her second year in education and her first year as the assistant band director at Klein Forest High School. Prior to joining the Golden Eagle family, she served as the assistant band director at Marshall Junior High in Marshall, Texas.

Ms. Exley earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she performed on horn with the SFA Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra. She also participated in the Lumberjack Marching Band and the Roarin’ Buzzsaws Pep Band on mellophone, then served as the sole drum major and an undergraduate teaching assistant. She traveled with the athletic bands to perform during the WAC, NCAA, and showcases for various UIL marching band competitions.

Her time in her undergraduate studies and her professional career are highlighted by a strong involvement in student leadership, a standard which she is excited to continue at Klein Forest. She’s looking forward to a fantastic year with the Golden Eagles!
